A large ceramic manufacturer in Binh Duong, Vietnam, produces 18 million square meters of tiles annually. Iron impurities in glaze cause black spots and color difference, and raw material quality fluctuates greatly in rainy seasons, leading to a high defect rate of 11.5%. Traditional fixed grate magnets are prone to material accumulation and blockage, requiring shutdown cleaning three times per shift and severely restricting production efficiency and product yield. In May 2026, the factory upgraded its production line with a combined solution of 12000Gs self-cleaning rotary grate magnet and slurry electromagnetic separator. The rotary grate prevents material accumulation and continuously scrapes off adsorbed impurities, while the electromagnetic equipment deeply removes weak magnetic iron contaminants. Featuring full 316L stainless steel and anti-corrosion coating, it is compatible with acidic glaze materials. After commissioning, the glaze iron content is controlled below 28ppm, tile whiteness is improved by 6-7 degrees, the glaze defect rate drops to 1.1%, and the product yield increases by 10.4%. Manual cleaning is completely canceled, achieving a daily output increase of 2000 square meters per production line.
